Finishing

Almost got UC apps done.
Yes, im not done yet. And it's completely ok.
(as long as i turn it in on time)
I have to admit, some of this college crap with private
universities are ridiculously confusing. i don't know if that's
the first part of your application, figuring out how it works.

Rain came, Rain gone. (the water rain)

with the other rain, ninja assassin wasn't a good movie at all.
Sorry to those Rain fans out there.
If i could vote, this movie would get

Worst
lighting, acting, English speaking skills, plot, plot connection, symbols,
action, looking blood, movie.

It was just horrible, and honestly, not worth the money to watch it in DLP.

Battle Studies

John Mayer's New CD "Battle Studies"

Just right off the bat, not the greatest cd he's ever released.
In a technical and musical aspect, this cd could've been so much greater
especially when compared to his past works. However, wikipedia was right,
this cd is a "fresh" approach to mayer's music. very similar to his first album,
its very pop, very very little blues/ jazz progressions. many of the songs sound
the same, and he incorporates triggers for the first time (drum beats and repeated
drums). His lyrical writing is superb (as always). The cd is "ok" so far. We'll see
what else i discover throughout the "battle studies" adventure.

rating: 8/10

School

Just had a debate in debate club today (if you're not in it, please join)
about legalizing marijuana. Lol, but it makes complete sense to legalize marijuana except for that its a gateway drug and long term harmful effects. other than that, its completely fine (somehow).

Again, join debate club.
and again, join debate club.

Life's been hitting me pretty hard about religion. It really has, but its not because of others, its mainly because of myself. i'm never settled at where i stand, my views always have to either move from one place to the other, or develop where it currently stands. i like this development stage though, sorta similar to C.S. Lewis in a sense, because its based strongly off of logic, yet it ties the beliefs of Christianity all together.

And its time for me to start running. marching season is over, and the holidays are coming. so both good and bad.

i'll elaborate more nxt time.

New Time

Marching season is over.
UC apps coming soon to a close in 2 weeks
last SAT in 3 weeks. black friday next week.

some words of wisdom to those with little time

patience isn't a virtue. it wastes time. (lol)

also, toilet paper is the best invention ever.
Ms. Hong wins the award after her 50th time of guessing
after i gave her hints. grats.

im starting to notice that im slowly starting to procrastinate.
but i have to admit, im doing pretty well this school year. way
better than any other year i ever had in high school.

i'll post more nxt time when i actually have something to say

USC Application

USC's application is a pain.
It's seriously the longest taking one because they make applicants
1. Use internet explorer (firefox wont work on it)
2. The page updates by itself and refreshes on its own,
so you have to wait double the time
3. The name for their classes are weird, so you have to type in
everything on your own

However, USC has a very fun part of their application called
"Quick Takes"
They ask you quick fun questions that should be answered in one or
few words. (i.e. role model, what do you like to do for fun, best
movie of all time)

One of the questions stated "best invention of all time."

Guess what i said, and win a magical surprise (im still thinking
of the prize)

This is my favorite time of the year. Food, family, friends, love, no school,
sleep. With the exception of standardized tests, college apps, scholarships, grants, loans, financial aid, it'll be all fine. (minor sarcasm)

Tired + Info

There has to be some way to get rid of this state we call being "tired."
It's seriously the number one problem within kids my age, and its eventually the
reason why kids and myself don't do their work in school. It eventually leads towards
laziness, then acceptance and content with being where we are currently at, and finally, FAIL. I need to get rid of this "tired" in my life. And honestly, I think You do too.

I've decided I'm going post on this blog two things. One is just inspiration for myself that will hopefully help You. Two is just to share my insight about the the knowledge that I've acquired recently. These "insights" can range any where from music, to shaving, to yoyo's. Anything that has "caught" my interest will be shown HERE. I will also be making another blog for business reasons.

Etiquette

I went to hometown buffet with my church members today.
i haven't been there in a while, but it was really fun and frking hilarious.

But do note:
No matter where u go to eat, do have proper etiquette for your family, friends,
and especially the employees. That means,
DO NOT MESS AROUND AND DO NOT CRAP (literally) IN THE RESTROOMS!!!!!!!

My brother did some nasty crap in the restrooms (dont tell the workers).
I'll just say two words: Smiley Face.

Wan has the best drink switching skills so far, Hongsean is the fail master of pouring
salt into drinks and jello, and my brother is just sick.

I decided to make a blogspot for several reasons.
1. I need a reference to my own information (i loose my own papers and emails
all the time that i need for reference, so this is a place for me to keep my ideas
for school work (essays), philosophy, history of life, etc.
2. Facebook limits words
3. You'll have to ask me in person why.
